PERSONAL CARE AIDE / HOME HEALTH AIDE

Program Details

Program Hours:  40 hours

Length:  1 week

Schedule:  Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm)

​

Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide assists with activities of daily living (ADL's) such as bathing, dressing, assists with feeding, and light housekeeping etc. 

Upon completion of the program, students will receive a certificate of completion and be able to provide personal care services to Medicaid waiver recipients or patients.

Basic Admission Requirements

  • Student must be at least 18 years of age 

  • Student must be able to read, write and understand English.

  • Valid Identification card [driver’s license, state ID, Passport, work authorization]

  • Criminal background check 

  • TB Test (PPD test/Quantiferon gold test/chest X-ray)

  • Hepatitis B

  • Flu shot

  • Covid vaccine
